About Rebecca
Rebecca is a freelance illustrator of children's books, young adult book covers, magazine stories, and more. Her clients range from large publishers to self-published authors. She enjoys bringing all sorts of stories into visual life, and just plain loves to draw!
Rebecca primarily paints traditionally in mixed media. She received both her BFA and her MFA in Illustration from the Hartford Art School.
Memberships: The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Illustrators Club of DC
Teaching: Rebecca teaches classes in illustration and drawing at Montgomery College in Takoma Park, MD, and at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, VA. She is a regular guest speaker at colleges and art guilds.
